How We Can Help

Our services are always individually tailored to suit you. The type of care and support we provide and the timing of it is dependent on the needs and wishes of the individual.

You may, for example, need a half hour visit in the morning and evening or a couple of hours in the afternoon or 24 continuous care. Whatever your needs we can usually accommodate.

The needs of our clients are very wide ranging but examples of the way we can help are as follows:

  • Meal preparation

The Delight Difference

In todays healthcare sector the emphasis is very much on choice and at Delight we work hard to meet the high demands of our clients. Our aim is to ‘delight’ our clients with the service we provide.

This means not only ensuring that we select our carers carefully, that we train them well and have effective systems and policies in place - it also means adhering to our values, continually listening to our individual clients and finding innovative ways to improve what we do.

Our core values apply to how we behave with each other within our organisation as well as how we behave with clients, their representatives and other people.

These values are:

  • To treat each other with respect
  • To treat each other as we would like to be treated ourselves
  • To always have time for people
  • To value people’s differences

' The assistance given to my mother was always both professional and sensitive and I know that she became fond of those Carers who had seen her regularly over a considerable period of time. Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to those involved. We also want to thank you for being so flexible and accommodating when we changed arrangements, sometimes at short notice. So thank you for all your care and for helping to enable our mother to remain in her own home which was so important to her.'
Mrs PO, Abingdon.

' I would just like to put in writing how impressed we are with the care you gave to my Father. Both the Carers we have had are outstanding and have been a real support over the past months. Jade is consistently positive, capable and approachable. Her attitude and compassion are outstanding. Her smile brightens all our days and she always goes the extra mile. Miranda is on top of everything and is great at letting us know what is happening. I'm especially grateful that she uses her initiative and makes good and well thought out decisions over food, for example.'
Mr CH, Marlow.

' There's nothing easy about getting old and needing help. It says a great deal for your personnel that their professionalism maintains the personal dignity of the people they care for. Needless to say, you don't get a good team unless there is good leadership.'
Mr FA, Maidenhead.

' With many thanks to you and your Carers, for all the care you have given me. I have been to heaven and back these last few weeks. My friend says the strain has gone from my face. Thank you.'
Mrs IJ, Cookham.

' Thanks for all the care I have been receiving from you and your staff, especially from Annie. She has built up my confidence and we have a very happy relationship'.
Mr MH, High Wycombe.
